Belgium has many kinds of grey: grey buildings, grey streets and grey weather. The country could definitely use some extra color. IKEA is setting the tone with a series of colourful outdoor ads designed by DDB Brussels, promoting the new IKEA spring collection.
This was translated into three visuals titled "new friends". We see a cat showing her love or defining its territory. Illustrating that the new IKEA furniture is a part of the household immediately. The same message can also be heard on the radio. A family is busy decorating and all family members, including the cat, are satisfied with their installation.
