DDB Brussels reinforces its ranks
DDB is happy to introduce their new family members. Tom and Silke are two young and promising creatives, who are eager to develop their talent and create some impressive work. They are supported by the ‘digital whizzkids’ Renaud and Victor, while Anneleen and Sarah reinforce the account department.
New creative team
This young team has already made the media shortlist in Cannes with the impressive case ‘Hand in hand.’ Silke Beurms was born in Aalst, but (luckily) raised in Ghent. She took her first steps in the world of advertising at mortierbrigade. Silke plays the guitar and likes to travel and watch movies. Her favorite? Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back.
Partner in crime, Tom Meijer, has a little ‘personality issue’ because he’s from West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The result: in the Netherlands, they think he’s Belgian. While in Belgium, most people think he’s a Dutchman. After studying Communication in Vlissingen, Tom spent 7 months traveling and finally ended up in Ghent. There he studied visual design during 3 years and did an internship at mortierbrigade.
New Account Executives
Sarah Savoir works as an account executive for both Audi and DDB's pharma customers. After her bachelor's degree in Communication Management at the AP College, she studied advertising in Bordeaux for four months. The internship that followed at TBWA made it clear that advertising was her thing. She continued her studies by following courses at the Belgian Advertising School, where she was part of the pop-up advertising agency Swiped and also did a five-month internship at 20Something.
Anneleen’s favorite quote is: ‘Let’s smile today’. And to be honest, she certainly can put one on your face. Anneleen Vande Voorde has a bachelor in Communications Management from the Erasmus University and obtained a Master in Creativity & Marketing at the Solvay Business School. As she wants to see the world, she did an international internship in Shanghai and lived/worked several months in Nice and Miami. As our new account executive she will join our Automotive division.
New Digital Team Members
This famous moustache calls himself: "Frenchy from Normandy". Victor has lived in Chicago, London, Marseille, Paris, and Riga. 7 months ago, he finally settled down in Brussels. Victor Mary has a master in International Marketing from Kedge Business School. During his studies he was an active blogger and also made radio shows. He will join DDB as a Junior Digital Producer. (Good to know, if you need something from him don’t forget to bring a cookie.)
This new Digital Project Manager knows how to drive in style. Every morning he arrives on his ‘coolest motorcycle in advertising’. (For the petrolheads: a Ducati Scrambler). Anyway, since 2009, he’s having fun in the digital world of brands. Over the years, he has worked for different types of companies (ranging from pure digital agencies to interior & design studios). Renaud Goossens is also active as one of the Managing Partners of a small production company called Visual Teasing, where they mainly focus on the production of short web videos.
